It took me awhile to remember where Dan got the phrase 'Game Face, Rabbit' then I remembered Super Troopers. I remember seeing that movie for the first time with Dan and his sons after they had watched several times. Dan was able to point out all the best parts and I was rolling with laughter. After that, I rented the movie and watched with my wife, who of course thought it was ridiculous. I realized at that point, the funniest thing about the movie was watching it with Dan. Dan made everything more fun and funny, whether it was tearing off a roof, watching a movie, or hanging out in Fl. He had a knack for making it fun.
Others have said that he was a true friend, one of the few they had. I've always felt the same way. I guess when it comes to being a true friend, Dan was like Micheal Jordan. The best there ever was! |
