8:39:44 AM | Just was smiling yesterday when i was walking around the backyard at craig drive, picking up trash. Funny how every time I found a roofing screw i was able to think about Dan. He lived at this house like 10 years... and so many reminders are still here... holes in the floor for cable, ceiling patch in mirandas old room... Infact we just replaced the fan Dan had hung... boy did he wire it strangely... it was drilled in with a foot long screw! Anyhow, neat to see simple things that one might think of as just trash in the yard and stuff... and know it was one of Dans projects. By the way... the pieces of his tree house have been comming down lately! Still isnt real that he is gone... but I love the reminders of his time here! |
