UNCLE DAVID

I think that Dan has always been a reminder to me to live positively in the moment and to soak up as much as life offers. I remember his proclivity for spontaneous, energetic, and joyous living even when he was a young boy growing up with his parents Wayne and Judy, and his brother Wayne Jr. There was always a certain spark of excitement in their household because of the special family connection they had, enhanced no doubt by Dan's energy. He carried that gleaming essence and lifestyle into adulthood and seemed to radiate it to all. I'm certain he bestowed it to his children who will carry on that part of his legacy.

The other night, I had a dream in which I was visited by that same energy. He said to me that he hoped all who knew him would appreciate how precious life is, and do everything possible to be healthy and happy. He hoped that all family intergenerational and individual impediments to that happiness would dissolve so they could be as fulfilled in their lives as he was.

Some say that dreams are sometimes the expression of the collective unconscious. Dan is still a part of the collective whole of Life. Let's all be open to positive change through his example. His essence indeed lives on.
