Jan. 1989 was my first opportunity to meet Dan. It was my first day on the job. Dan and I were in a dump truck traveling to a job site with the power sweeper.
We got lost and showed up 2 hours late. The foreman fired on the spot and told him to walk home. Well thank God he gave him a break and just gave him the day off.
For look at what he accomplished 19 years later.
I'd say we've all raced Dan with a screw gun, caulk gun, and a glue brush. Did any of us beat him, NO. He was the best at what he did.
Dan never turned away from a job, especially when dirt was involved.
GOD BLESS you and your family Dan.
