7:16:17 PM | I was in total shock when my brother Dean called me. I had the opportunity to see Dan, not to long ago in Atlanta. Dan came into the conference room to say 'Hi'. It was an asbolute pleasure to see him, he came up and said the same thing to me, he always said 'What's up Big Guy'. Dean and I was sharing memories about Dan, Wayne and all the guys. We never saw Dan upset or mad at anyone. Lord knows if he had the right to get mad at anyone, it was truly ME. Most people remember me as rough and tough as a Foreman. But one thing, as I look back, I truly respected the guys that I worked with. I could be so mad at the world, but Dan come make me see things in his humor. Everybody that knows Dan, knew that he was honest, respectful and always willing to learn and work. Hard work paid off for Dan at Centimark, when I found out he was promoted to Birmingham, I got a kick out of it. Yes, deep down in my heart, I knew with his outlook he would be ok.
I am proud and humbled to say Dan is my friend. I know that I truly miss him and the way he made me laugh.
